Skip James and Duster Bennett played a fair amount of cool blues songs!. I know that John Mayer's most recent album was Heavily influenced by Curtis Mayfield, so you might want to check some of his stuff out!. His best (and most John Mayer sounding) music is on his first album, "Curtis", and his first live album "Curtis Live!"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
For acoustical folk/blues mastery, check out Mississippi John Hurt!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
