The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" question?!

Question: The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again" question!?
So I purchased Who's Next on CD yesterday!. I have a question regarding this part of the song:

"I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get **all** my papers and smile at the sky
Though I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya!?"

The "all" (at 3:31-3:32) sounds very!.!.!. 'tinny!.' It's a bit distracting!. I'm wondering, is this supposed to be this way or is my CD defective!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Yeah, I knowtcha mean!.

I think it's a slight echo or some other effect
which they'd had some of Raj's vocal track on
at different times!.

I tip my hat to thought of your Question!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Is it a Re-Master !?

Not that, that would necessarily make a difference!.

Hmmm!.!.!. Good Question --

I'll say this much - I do not have the CD, but I have the Vinyl American Pressing (which are comparatively poor to Euro & Japan)

AND -- There is not "tinniness" whatsoever on that part!.

It is either Defective or they just did a "poor" job of the Digital Mix (which is surprising, by today's standards)

I realize that is not a conclusive answer - but going from Analog to Digital, actually was difficult in the beginning!.

I guess my final assessment is that I'm suspicious that it might be a "physical defect" - not a Mastering one!.

Good Luck !!

EDIT --

I just read "Rockman"s Answer - Maybe they just screwed the Transfer - which is terrible!.

As I said - the original recording is Fine
