I was into rap in the late 80's when I was a kid and it was an entirely different style of music all about America (Run DMC, LL Cool J etc!.)!.
It's been effectively commercially hijacked long, long ago and I imagine it will reflect the commercial requirements of the time in 10 years (generating huge amounts of money while supposedly preaching from the ghetto)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it is here to stay!. It will without a doubt be very different from now tho!. 10 years ago it was mostly gansta rap!. Now its mostly dance music and female driven records!. The new trend is using a vocoder (Like what T-Pain uses, and apparently Kanye W!., Birdman, Weezy, and all other rappers now)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
