Question: How does Dimebag get that awesome guitar sound!?
What did he do with his guitar, I just love that unique sound!. I also don't know much about guitars so go easy on the guitar terms, but I would appreciate if someone would explain how he gets that sound!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

if you mean the squealing!? its called pinch harmonics!.
you use your thumb and pick at the same time while hitting the strings!. make sure both of them hit the strings at the same time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hot humbuckers, a digitech whammy pedal, a signal doubler (phaser!?), and I think two different EQ pedals to boost his signal super-crazy, into a Randall solid state amp!. His signal was so hot that his tech had to monitor the noise gate to make sure he wouldn't feed back like crazy!.
Basically, by most standards his setup sucked!.!.!. but he made it sound reeeaal good!.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some of it!.!.!. google it for more info!.

talent!.!.!.!.!.!.juuuust kiddin!.!.!.i wouldnt worry about gettin the right sound right now!.!.!.just work on playing the songs he plays perfecting it comes later dont get too ahead of yourself!.!.no sense in tryin to sound the same if you dont have the tabs down!.!.ya know
