Question: Is rap slowly declining!?

2003 was definitely NOT the biggest year for hip hop!. but yes, the MAINSTREAM rap is declining!. more and more artists are deciding to sign with independent record labels, and they're beginning to appear in the mainstream mix!. the "artists" who are popular now are moving out of the spotlight because all of there music in the same (repeated lyrics over and over and over, same beat each time, bad lyrics, bad beats) and the independents are jumping in to take their place!. the grammys are going independent, so soon you'll see independent artists on mtv and stuff instead of 50 cent, lil jon, and all those gays!. soon it'll be MF DOOM, cunninlynguists, living legends, and all those people!. finally! Good music is coming into play!Www@Enter-QA@Com
No,it's simply going threw it's changes, (again) and went threw the party stage in the beginning ,then threw it's pro government stages, then thew it's gangster stage, now it's right at the beginning again, with all the party dance music& now it's on the labels & artist to bring it back to giving the knowlegde again full scale, let the media tell it those mc's don't exsist any longer!? the problem with hiphop is all areas of hiphop arent gettin any light!.!.only the party aspect of it!.!.!.i remember in the 90's you could turn to BET and see a prince paul video followed by a nelly one!.!.!.and that was great!.!.now all you see is lil wayne ,flo rida and so on!.!.!.!.50 is not really a party rapper !.!.but he always has to put out some gay "chick song" to appeal to the masses!.!.!.
people from the south get offended when you claim hiphop is dead!.!.they say it lives in the south!.!.but dont worry thats why it will die out totally in a few years!.!.!.there is no substance out there anymore
im waiting on dr dre and eminem's albums!.!.i think if these album arent both instant classics hiphop is in the biggest trouble!.!.eminem to me is the only rapper now who can bridge that gap of commercial appeal with creativity!.!.i cant wait to hear his album!.!.and as for dre his singles are always amazing!.!.there is still hope peopleWww@Enter-QA@Com
