Its bad, I can't really compare it to his other work in terms of whether it is worse or not because I have never been impressed by any of his music. He calls himself the "best rapper alive" but than makes music that most sensible people these days are claiming is killing hip hop. He's way overrated....

but it really ain't that bad.
it works as a dance/party song, which is obviously what he was he was aiming for.
and i thought that fireman song was awful but the carter II as a whole wasn't bad.

I think people like it because it's very unique. Lil Wayne has never done anything quite like this and it's very popular. Lil Wayne is huge right now, and I'm sure he'll come up with more amazing music. For right now, lollipop will go under one of his biggest hits without a doubt.

h3ll no, this song sucks. It does not show lil wayne's ability to rap. he doesn't even rap in the song really. Most of his stuff he's put out the last year is whack. this is one of the whack songs.
