DJ Quik or Eazy-E?!
Question: My vote goes to Quik since Eazy-E never wrote his own rhymes, and when he did they weren't actually that good, plus DJ Quik can produce. But saying that, it still is a tough one since Eazy made more of an impression on hip hop. What do you guys think?

anyone who doesnt think quik can rap do a search and listen to the west coast remix of riding dirty. quick straight killed it. i think people tend to overlook what quick has contributed as a producer and also forget how big he was in that time.
back in the late 80s and early 90s quick put out some of the best selling albums.
i think that it is easier to come big on a science off a group because NWA was such a presence and each of them was so talented and each brought something to the table.
if mausburg had lived i think quik would have done more and gone further. he was really impacted by homies death. i remember seeing an interview where he said he came in the studio the next day and mausburgs drink was still sitting there. he was really torn up and i think, and many other do as well that the two of them together were about to really blow up. rip mausburg.
quick was hard in the beef scene too. most die hard quik fans or rap fans will laugh and remember him and eiht going at it and quik killed him saying you left out the g kause the g ain in you.
plus quik has managed to stay relevant. the question is would eazy-e have done that? please believe i love e. im just posing that as a question to consider in answering the topic.
Eazy-E all the way. Although he didn't write his own stuff, he made one of the biggest impacts on hip-hop. Most rappers out there rap about Eazy all the time cuz he was tight like that. No one cares about DJ quik.

I say DJ Quick. Cube wrote I think Eazy's 1st album I'm not sure, but yeah he had cube as his ghost rider.

DJ Quik helluva producer and also quite good with the rhymes.
DJ Quick sounds funny when he raps, but i still like his flows, and i think Easy-e has an older(if not larger) fan base.
