Lark Ascending by Vaughan Willaims.Curious question?!
Question: Okay ...my beloved and I were listening to this yesterday and I asked him what he visualised when he saw it.
He saw 'lushness' and Scotland and I see grass turned yellow by heat in Yorkshire.
I am alarmed at his 'take' and my reaction was so spectaculary agog that he laughed for a full ten minutes..
So WHAT DO YOU SEE?(please don't say a lark ascending!)

I visualise paintings by John Constable.
the lake district... with larks ascending. or just the one lark. makes no difference really.
yours is interesting, though. xxx
I don't really see pictures...more colors. It's a mixture of blues and reds for the most part and then yellows at the end.

I "see" a violin playing a high rising line over an orchestra.
Seriously, I don't see imagery when I listen to music except sometimes to see the lines as graphic lines.
