my husbands gigs, are friggin awsome, they play originals and mostly covers. aswome sftuff like BRICK HOUSE and muddy waters, stevie ray vaughn, then some originals, then some Chili peppers(walk about..awsome song) then some Jimi Hendrix on to some Johnny Cash, just mixin it up all night! And they are friggin AWSOME!!! my husband can mimic whoever he covers, and the lead guitarist can play those Stevie Ray and Hendrix songs to a T!
but as far as national acts, I gotta say Dave Matthews, puts on a helluva live show, the best. sound BETTER live than on their records. Great shows. ALWAYS
