How can i project my voice without it sounding awkward?!

To project your voice, you have to sing from your stomach by pushing out the air with your diaphragm when you sing. it may seem awkward at first, but with practice, you will be able to easily project your voice. I did this and now I can project my voice farther when I sing. Best of luck!

I had the same problem! I still do but it's getting better. I'm not only practicing just singing songs i like, but i really set out to project particular notes till I'm satistified with it. You can record yourself and listen back on it and point out to urself exactly what u want/need to fix.
It'd help to get some help. like a friend who's had lessons...or u can get lessons for urself.
I guess using ur diaphram is the key. though it is still a lot of practice and listening to urself.
and experiment, might find urself doing something awesome =)
