At what point will radio stations stop playing phil collins songs?!
Question: enought already ok. i am getting tired of flipping to new station everytime they play this guy. he music is just not that good. And for your folks that are insulted by this, good. what say you?

Its because Phil Collins is supposedly still an "Icon"...I dont really care for him as much as a couple songs I used to...H***, got worn out from those two being played alone over and over again...I do not like the fact that some radio stations play certain songs till theyre worn to the ground..Might as well have an "Irish Funeral" ceremony for them all and bury them along w/ covering them w/ dirt..and sand..and hope that they will turn "ashes to ashes " and "dust to dust"....Im so tired and imspired all at the same time..you tc/Caribou/God Bless you...lol...<KLYHugzUxxx>;)
they won't. because they think he is good. try a top 40 radio station.
try calling and talking to the program directors of the radio stations you listen to and complain, or use either the off button or the search button/dial on your radio. I don't listen to the radio myself so i don't have this problem of hearing the same song/artist every ten minutes or having to sit through a bunch of crappy songs just to hear a few good ones. you are entitled to your own opinion and that don't bother me.

I think when he dies.. after like 10 weeks they will play it non-stop and then never play it again.
As long as there is any money to be made by playing Phil Collins songs, we will continue to hear them...I'm sorry to say.
I think the better question is why are you listening to radio stations that play Phil Collins?
If you don't like Phil Collins songs maybe you shouldn't listen to top 40 radio. What stations do they play your songs on? When you have multiple hits, albums, concert tours with a rock group or as a solo artist, then you can come back to Y/A & talk about your success but in the mean time, change the station & quit bellyaching over minor BS
10/10 question. I really don't like most of his music. The cover to No Jacket Required is the funniest thing I've ever seen. As a joke I take the LP and hold it up to my face by the very mention of Phil. And his song 'I Don't Care Anymore' is horrible.
Most of his stuff is horrible.
