I have every one of their songs, so I have to disagree with you there. I find them very deep and inspiring, but that's just my opinion.
Of course I have!!!! I am a huge fan and they don't suck,my favorite song is Our lady of sorrows

By bashing MCR fans, you are continuing their self-depreciation kick and thus perpetuating the cycle of depressed fans who want to hear MCR.
We should all get together and give them kudos as a top pop band. Then the "fans" who run to MCR as an alternative to popular music will have to run elsewhere as the regular listeners buy MCR just to find out what's so popular about them. No more "sympathy listeners". It's flawless!

Maybe you think that because not all of them are about love. They write about real things. If it's not real, it's just interesting. How many songs has Rihanna sung about love? Do you REALLY think that it's close to her heart? Sure, "Umbrella" was a hit but that's because we're all expected to fit a mold. A mold of either the pop or rock world... Preps = Pop. I like pop and I like emo bands... I don't fit the mold. Who cares? Sure, Prince is okay... Not my style though. MCR puts some kind of love and devotion into their songs... I can't explain it.
I'm not emo. I'm sitting here in a pink shirt and crochet UGGs. Do you think I'm emo? I'm pretty preppy and I have a SUPER high self esteem. I'm not depressed and I don't need MCR to feel better about myself. I like popular artists as well as this band. So what if they're emo? You can't judge a book by it's cover. I just like the music. There's nothing wrong with it.
We all have different styles in music. Some people choose My Chemical Romance. Some choose Prince. Oh well.
I listened to a few of their songs. it wasn't pretty. My ears bled and I had to take massive doses of Xanax. It will never happen again.
