I think that the Foo Fighters "Best Of You" is more about an old love moving on, and wondering if she is trying harder to make her new relationship work
"What I've Done" by, Linkin Park is about self-reflection, looking at yourself in the mirror and accepting that you cannot change the past
Which is the better song? I think that both song are about a different kind of pain, but share the common theme of having to accept the consequences of your actions...and living with them.
Best Song: "What I've Done" by Linkin Park....it really cuts to the core of who it is that we are....creatures of conscience who have to live with our actions

It covers a larger viarity (spelling) of subjects, and it isn't as confusing as the Best of You video.
However, I think the uncensored version of the video 'Ready To Fall' by Rise Against is better than both of them.

I hate these sort of answers, the ones where it is very difficult to make a decision. I love the Foo Fighters through and through. Linkin Park are a great group and I love their album Minutes to Midnight. The single 'What I've Done' is superb and has great guitar rifts. The actual words are very meaningful and deep. I often look in the mirror and look back over my life the good and the bad with this song playing. However, I do hold a torch for the Foos. I adore Dave Grohl and have done since he was with Nirvana. He is an allround damn good musician. He plays drums, guitar, piano, writes, produces, and puts together some very poignant songs, with lots and lots of meaning, love, hurt, dying, losing friends, life, growing up, etc etc. I am going to go with the Foos 'Best of You' because I can't turn my back and be disloyal and the song is just bloody good and has more meaning to me in my life.
