Tune down half a step. Just turn your tuners down half a step. You will hear the difference.

This worked for me.
down half a step means down a semitone, or half tone. When you tune your guitar you need to tune each of the strings a semitone (halftone) lower than normal. If you are confused, use a keyboard/piano to find the right notes.
If you know how to tune by ear either using harmonics or 5th fret method it is very easy. Assuming you are in tune and tuned to standard E, play the 6th fret on the A string and tune the open E to that. just tune a each string down a half step
if you have an electric tuner that tells you what note your playing, just tune everything like this:
D' G' C' F' A' D' just tune them all sharp
