Yes. Half of what's on Jennifer Lopez's albums qualifies as disco. Then there's that "What is Love" song used in the Pepsi commercial.
i would imagine but i think it has evolved
it's still present, but in a different form. all those club-friendly pop and r&b songs you hear on the radio are derivatives of disco music. a great example is madonna's hung up. so i guess disco is still alive.
