For H.I.M (the band) fans?!
Question: I've read more than once on different sites, some fans say that lately most of the band's new fans are "posers". Well would anyone care to explain to me what makes those fans "posers"?

well i've met alot of girls who "like" H.I.M. and they were the shirts and i asked them what's their favorite song and they don't know then I asked name at least one song and they still don't know, most chicks like H.I.M. cause of Ville and think he's really good looking, that's all, so they're posers. Oh and I've asked alot of guys and chicks to name at least one of their cd's before dark light and they don't know any. And I've met some people who say they're big fans of him and buy all their stuff but only like a couple of songs. Oh and I'm not saying that a good fan has been listening to H.I.M. since their first album just that alot of people say they love H.I.M. so much but only know one song they just think they look cool with the shirts
Maybe because some people only like a few songs, that might be it.
I think its all bull. I am a fan of H.I.M. and I'm not a poser. If your a poser it basically means your trying to be someone your not. That is basically labeling people. I don't like labels.

However, allow me to say my opinion in that I don't think a "good" fan of a band is based on how long they've been a fan of that band. Yes, it can take some amount of time to get to know the band's music and things about the band, but that doesn't mean you had to have been listening to them since their first album, although it's nice.
There are plenty of new fans that only listen to their music from after they became popular. Sure, there's nothing wrong with liking that music, but why not give their other albums a chance? I myself personally prefer some of their older songs, and I'm sure that newer fans might be able to as well. Besides, it's all of that older music that has led HIM up to where they are in their musical career today.
I have nothing against new fans, but it bothers me when the only reason some "fans" act like they love HIM is because they are obsessed with Ville's looks.
