Answers: B.I.G can't touch Rakim,Big L,Big Daddy Kane,Jigga..Not even Hurricane chris.

Yes I'm exhausted of people saying B.I.G was the best rapper in East Coast History and Hurricane Chris fooled you with that A Bay Bay ****. He actually has potential and talent unlike Soulja Boy and Hurricane's freestyles are considerably good. B.I.G was good but I don't understand why he's supposedly the best. Maybe its just me but I don't really like his style that much.Sure Big Poppa and Juicy are good but he probably isn't the greatest...

I do think that big l was better than biggie

wow i think u h ave officially lost it biggie cant beat hurricane chris there must be another one i know u aint talking bout the same cat who bought like 65 percent of his records off lil boosies ryhmes and the same guy he says ''its so hot in the club i aint got no shoes on'' u put those lyrics against juicy gimme the loot and skies the limit wow i think u need to find a hoby one that doesnt involve the computer

i've heard hirricanes ''freestyles'' they were written raps he bought from lil boosie the guy is garbage i take souljah boy over chirs to be honest but anyway back to this fail thread biggie isnt said to be the best out of the east coast nas is most of the time but u dont like him either right ? of course u dont lok its simple u may not like biggie but respect is respcet biggie made his mark with only two albums how many other mcs u know have done that ur boy hurricane aint made his mark past ringtones yet be serious now how many people do u know that own a hurrican chris album

Biggie deserves his place in history but we are only talkin' on the main stream level. There are many cats on the underground level, especially in the east coast that deserve the limelight BUT no since they are not on a major label or not getting that much radio play, they get overlooked.

I seriously think that you do not even like rap music. B.I.G. and Tupac are the best rappers ever to live. Biggie set the stage for future rappers to come. Jay-Z??? Are you serious his American Gangster album that recently came out was weak. I mean given the theme of an American Gangster there is so much more you can do with it and he flopped. The whole CD with exception of a few songs was whack. Do you listen to the lyrics of rap music or do you just like to hear about stupid stuff like drugs and women. Biggie did rap about drugs and money but he also rapped about real stuff. Hurricane Chris raps about his DJ - Bay Bay and hand clapping thats just stupid. Say what you want but B.I.G. is still the best rapper on the East Coast because the other ones you named with an exception of Rakim (because he's original) are just like paracites to Biggies work. Jay-Z even steals his raps from some of Biggies unreleased (and released) music. Listen to Ether by Nas and Swagger Jacker by Cam'ron of DipSet and see that Jay-Z did not even write half of his lyrics. And besides Nas is better than Jay-Z.
