It's not sad, but "I've just Seen a Face" by the Beatles is such a sweet, simple love song. "I Miss You" by Incubus is sad. So is "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers. "Kathy's Song" by Simon and Garfunkel is really sweet.
