The only George Jones song I have co-written by Billy Yates is "Choices," from "Cold Hard Truth."

Mike Curtis was the co-writer.

I gave up on determining what was a "hit" ages ago, thanks to Eddie Stubbs on WSM playing all those great songs that were never hits, so I'm not sure if this is the song you're referring to.
