The song you are referring to is almost certainly by a all female group called Uncle Earle who I saw perform this song live in the Cluny at Byker ( England )
The band has 3 Cd's but unfortunately that song is not on any of the Cd's. one of the band members is Kristin Andreassen - and the song is on her solo cd called Kiss Me Hello that is available via the Uncle Earle website
