Radiohead because they are constantly being innovative and they bury their hooks and melodies deep in their songs. You really have to listen to get them. I love that about them. Plus, they rock! LOL.
Switchfoot......because the lyrics are so deep although i think their new stuff isnt as good...it could just be me though
My chemical Romance their music can be sad or happy, they always have instruments sounds that sound really good together.they have great imagination and they put everything into lyrics perfectly.plus Girard's voice really just ties it all together.

Honestly, people make fun of me, but the beach boys.
Its a personal choice for me, so much of it was because it was played a lot on oldies stations when i was a kid, and i just loved it.
On top of that, i can play almost any of thier albums and listen to almost every song.
Other artists i like, i end up skipping past a lot of crap music to get to the good stuff.

Well, I don't have a favorite band, There's waaaaay too many, but Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is the greatest album ever created because you can just get lost in the music it's just... calm.
I love my favorite band because all of their lyrics really relate to my thoughts. Btw my favorite band is Evanescence.
i never had a good answer for this until a while ago. i was listening to a few of my favorite albums and i realized what they all have in common.
they have a message.
it's all about the message. it comes straight from their heart, and you can tell.
it shows, they're so passionate about what they do.
rose from nothing, like most successful bands do, and became something extraordinary, with only their hopes and dreams to hold on to.
that's what it's all about.
it's so intimate and amazing. really tugs on your "heart strings." sorry for being so corny, but. that's what it is.
their message and how it shows through in their music.
you can feel their pain with every moan, scream, or melancholy beat; and you can feel their high points in life with every upbeat riff and enthusiatic vocal.
it's amazing. it just reaches down your throat and squeezes your heart.
it's incredible. and very special. very few bands can do this with their music, but when it is accomplished it's . . . hard to explain.

i love simple plan a lot, cos i think i love their music its not that hard and pure fun, and others is their lyrics! its superb, i can relate to it..
others are, Def leppard, linkin park, the beatles and sum 41, basiclly cos i love their music, i find their music fun and relaxing at times..

I like their music for starters. They at least put out a few good albums (not just 1or2). I have fond memories of their music through out the years. I like them as a person (don't have to always agree with their opinion or behavior). It's a tie between Def Leppard & Queensryche as my favorite all-time band. However they don't play my favorite music right at the moment..
my chemical romance, because they're real, its hard to explain, but it doesnt feel like their far away behind all the glittery fame. and they're really nice people

They're original and you can tell all their songs come for the heart. They probably care more about their fans than any other band I listen to and they always put them and their wants first when it comes to their music. They haven't sold out and hopefully never do, and they connect beautifully with people through their songs and lyrics.
The energy created from the bands music transfered into the fans delight at the show shown by dancing , showing respect and courtesy to each other and participation in the pre-show

They have great songs, lyrics, they make me happy. Every member is great and i just love them btw its Fall Out Boy
MCR. They have a message, you can tell they are passionate about what they do. They are down to earth, arnt big headed or arrogant. They really care for their fans, they respect them. In return, their fans have respect for them. Although i wonder, with all those annoying fake poser girls.
my favorite band is Avenged Sevenfold and i like them because they are very talented. The rev is an amazing drummer and Synester is an amazing guitar player! but its funny because they are the only band in that genre that like. i mainly listen to death metal, grindcore, and thrash. i like black dahlia murder, job for a cowboy, lamb of god, devildriver, killswitch engage, and stuff like that.
I have a few favorite bands such as Cradle of Filth, Nightwish, Evanescence, Black Sabbath, etc.
I dig their lyrics, music such as the choirs that they put in their songs, and especially the vocals.
Neil Young is my favorite musician because he's not afraid to take risks and he is constantly "reinventing himself" (I know, it's a worn-out cliche). People who think "Nevermind" was the genesis of grunge have never listened to "Everybody Knows this is Nowhere" from Neil's first album with Crazy Horse, way back in 1969.
Some (actually very little) of Neil's stuff has kind of sucked (The Shocking Pinks) but he does not care. He moves right on to something else.
