Sounds like it drys out your throat. That can't be a good thing. Perhaps you shouldn't be singing your are having problems with your lungs.

It dried me out.
So that can effect you maybe?
I needed it for my asthma and didn't have a choice.

Good luck.

I have an albuterol inhaler, and it never affected mine. Well, I've never been a good singer anyway, but I don't think it will.

I used it for bronchitis as well, and it wasn't a problem. It may dry a little, but you're not going to inhale every five minutes, are you? So, use the inhaler, wait 15 minutes or so (if you can) and you should be okay.

I used it while touring with my choir and having up to three concerts a day - I didn't feel a thing. Just remember to drink a lot and rest.

just to add, is it the kind with or without cortisone?
The kind without shouldn't prove any problem to singers.
I had a bad asthma attack, and my doctor put me on the reallys heavy duty stuff ( with). I couldn't sing because of the effect on my vocal cords.
After switching, I could sing within a couple of days.
Also, do you have a long filter tube, or do you just go for the straight squirt? The filtering tube removes a lot of the propulsion material. Turns out lots of people have more problems with than than the asthma/bronchitis.
check with your pharmacy.
