Nope,after 2pac died in '96,we had Eminem,Nas,and(some)Snoop Dogg.I'll say it took a HUGE step down,but it ain't dead yet brotha.

No. Xzibit, DMX, Eminem, G-Unit, Dipset, Nelly, Diddy, etc. all contributed to rap classics. Some people may disagree with some on my list, but rap would be worse without them. P.S. I bet my friend to listen to 50 Dipset songs in a row and he said he couldn't take it anymore after 26. Lololol.
When Dre & Snoop bailed on Deathrow Records, that's when rap went to sh1t. By the time 2 Pac got killed, Deathrow was crap & made way for the rise of that Master P garbage.
