Led Zeppelin as opposed to Lead Zeppelin. Page said he spelled it that way because he didn't want people to mispronounce their name "Leed" Zeppelin, seeing that lead and lead are spelled the same way.
This exact thing happened to the band "Live", it was meant to be pronounced "liv", according to lead singer Ed Kowalczyk.

BTW, Styx is not a misspelling; it refers to the mythical river of the Greek pantheon's underworld. The original name of the band was Tradewinds 4, but they wanted something that sounded cooler for their first album release.
Bloc (not Block) Party
probably Linkin' Park.
And i just want to say that the person who said that Led Zeppellin was because of pronunciation is wrong. What actually happened was that Roger Daltery (The Who lead singer) said that this band would go down like a lead Zeppellin. therefore, when they became possibly the greatest band ever, they rubbed it in and called themselves Led Zeppellin
One that hasn't already been mentioned...the Black Crowes (correct spelling: the Black Crows). Van der Graaf Generator (correct spelling: Van de Graaff generator) is another one.
