BOSS BR-1600 MultiTrack Recorder Question?!
Question: Does the BR1600 have the ability to record in 24-bit (48k) audio resolution, or only 16-bit (44.1) (or can it do both, but with a lower physical track count on the high setting like with other units).
I've researched musician's friend, ebay, and BOSS' website, and NO ONE has this listed in the specs, which is soooo retarded as every other unit out there has this info listed in the specs. That kind of leads me to believe that it only does 16 bit, but then again, the BR1600 is like, $1,200.00 new, so it better be able to do 24-bit! (then again BOSS overcharges for everything, so...)

It records at 16-bit . But It uses 24-bit AD and DA converters for high quality recording. Comes with its own burner. The sound should be more than adequate.
