How attractive is...?!

Question: How attractive is singing to girls? Not like rocker punker "singing", but real singing. Like Pavoratti, Josh Groban, or classical singers like that.

I disagree with your "point clarification". Then again, I am a professional musician.

I actually really dislike the typical boy/rock band vocalists. Mostly all of them have HORRIBLE tone, diction, and more times than not, resemble a dying cat.

I'm not speaking for the female population as a whole... so you shouldn't generalize with your question, and assume that "females only go for the image", either.
There are girls (like me!!!) who truly love to hear males sing in a classically trained manner. I dated a guy (before he moved away)... ..an engineering student at my college. He never took a vocal lesson in his life, yet his vibrato and the tone of his voice were breathtaking. Girls fell over themselves to be with him, when he opened his mouth... and he was a short and slightly heavy guy! Not the *supposed* "female ideal" of manhood. Just a sweet guy with a kick-*** voice!!

If you possess a voice like that, too, then give it a shot! If I hear you, I'll come and ask for your number.
::wink::
good luck.

HI Nathan,

Girls love for guys to be romantic.
Singing is one of those romantic vibes.

This may sound cheesy but singing for a girl outside her window at night will blow her mind.

Just think in some Spanish countries I heard that when a guy is crazy in love with a girl he brings a mariachi band to sing for her outside her house or by her window. And to think what woman would not love that.

If you got a crappy voice neva mind though..but it neva hurts to try,,,:)

Well oddly enough, the night I met my wife I met her *only* because I was singing rock and roll. Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" and Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell," to be exact. She came over and asked me to buy her a drink, because I was the only one not singing sappy crappy songs or Country and Western.

So, you just never know. :-)

I'm pretty sure the only reason Pavoratti had any luck with the ladies is because he could sing. I mean look at the guy, he's definitely not EASY on the eyes. Chances are that your typical rocker chick won't go for your average classical man.
