I don't remember the name, perhaps if you listed some of his songs I might.
He was inducted into the "Country Music Hall of Fame" in 1961 and the "Nashville Song Writers Hall of Fame" in 1970. Then in 1985 he was inducted into the "Song writers Hall of Fame". One of my favorite Fred Rose songs is a Willie Nelson hit "Blue eye's crying in the rain".
