What kind of music will you be playing? The Turbo is a much more extreme pedal, while the Blues Driver is better for bringing out musical nuance. If subtlety isn't for you, the Turbo is. Either way, you won't know for sure until you try them both, and try a lot of others as well (a day at the music store is infomative AND fun, plus it's a legitimate excuse for cranking it up & messing around with a whole lot of gear you haven't paid for!)

You need to know what music you enjoy plaing, and base your instrument / pedal choices around what it is that you want to do. There are lots of styles out there, and you need to decide what "your" sound is. Pedals for the sake of pedals are a waste. It is the sound that you are looking for. Go to a music store and try things out and see what sound you can create.
honestly i like the blues driver...
I dont think the ds2 turbo is too much better. I have a ds1 and i like it, and i've only played the ds2 at the guitar center... but i didnt think it was all that.
I'd go with the BD2... it's pretty sweet.
Just so you know, Stevie's Secret Weapon was a Tube Screamer. It ain't Boss, but it may help.
