The last vinyl LP I have has a 1988 date. The last vinyl 45 has a 1984 date. I looked this up years ago because I knew you would ask me someday. The last vinyl CD I have is dated 2007. Hope I have helped (wink)

My last LP? I think it was a Ricky Van Shelton (that suff is boxed up SOMEWHERE!!)

My last 45? (the kids will think I'm talking guns), I think it was a Vince Gill song, and I'm not ashamed of my age, I'm 49 (and olding) lol

I am a Rebel without a clue!!!

Glad to have you back, OKIE,

God bless Porter (and his family)

God bless Porter and his family

The last new album I bought was "Diamonds and Dirt" by Rodney Crowell (1988). However, I still buy LPs and 45s -- when I can find them. There are so many great artists out there (hello, MCA Records, I'm talking to YOU about the Wilburn Brothers!!) who have little to no CD representation.

One of my last vinyl 45s is You Haven't Heard The Last Of Me by Moe Bandy, and I know it was 1987 because I had just started college. It's hard to say what my last vinyl album was because I was buying so many oldies at the time that I just don't remember. I'll bet it's Restless Heart, though.

I was really angry for a long time about having to deal with CDs, but I got used to them and now I like them. There will never be anything like the smell, the cover art and the warm sound of vinyl, though.

Helen, deepest condolences and sadness about Porter, by the way. Check out my answer under Tommy's "Moment Of Silence."

I can't remember my last vinyl...unfortunately I don't have them...I gave them to a Nephew several years ago. Yeah, yeah, I know....but I got lots of 8 tracks. lol

I still occasionally buy the vinyl version of an album-they're still making them, they just don't advertise them because they make more money off of cds. I believe the last one i bought was last year-a Steve Forbert (folk/country singer from Jimmie Rodgers hometown) album.

Back in the early 80's around 84 It was Conway and Loretta
