its their worst album yet. all the songs sound the same and even the odd highlight i still would never wish to see live. after theyve toured with this album no song off this album will make the setlist ever again

i like it but i had to hear it a few times and it grew on me. i'm glad i got it.
I was pleasantly surprised. The last album (the double album) was a huge letdown for me as there is not a single memorable song in the whole collection despite how much Grohl hyped it up. It was also obnoxious how Best of You was all over MTV. But I like how this last one kind of snuck up on you without all the press. The first three songs are heavy and catchy, and the rest of it is really strong as well. I think it's definitely worth picking it up. I would put it maybe a bit behind The Color and the Shape but it's up there.
I haven't heard the whole album, but my current favorite song is The Pretender. I am a lyric person. Those lyrics really speak to me.
Yeah, I didn't like it either. When I first put it in, I kept skipping the tracks because none of the songs were very good. None of the songs really stand out...nothing jumps out at you and makes you say "oh my god, this is a great song." Right now it appears that what happened to Weezer is happening to the Foo Fighters (they used to make great music, but lately what they've been putting out is bland and uninspired.) I'm afraid that the Foo Fighters may be turning into co ck rock.
agreed...its a good album but nothing about it thrills me. but its alright not to bad. i think if you listen to it more often it some of the songs grow on you.
but i love the title of the song: Cheer up, boys ( your make up is running) lol so funny its a pretty good song too. again like i said i grows on you
