Answers: I believe the name is "The lonely people" or something like that? Does anyone know what its about? or possibly know a website I could go to to find out what songs are about? just curious =)

There's no Pink Floyd song called "The Lonely People" there are references too lonely people in some of the songs from The Wall. You can Google The Wall and they'll give you lyrics and meanings. Mostly the whole album is about isolation leading to madness.

The only song I can think of with "lonely people" is Elenor Rigby by The Beatles.

Are you maybe talking about On the Turning Away? It's about how we should stop turning away from the people that really need our help. It sounds like it should be from Bob Geldof or Bono or something.
