Classical sounding tune to identify?
I don't want to state that this music piece must have a classical background, but due to the frequent plagiarism in this music scene I do suspect this.

can someone recognise any coherence to an existing classical piece (especially the strings motif from 1:42 to 2:28)?

Nothing classical there, just some fragments of melody and background chords in a minor key with a heavy beat percussion track. For some reason anything done in a minor key seems to be automatically suspect as being classical.
As for plagiarism, anything published before January 1, 1923 (in the US at least) is in the public domain and free for use in any type of arrangement or composition.
