Guitar chords?!
Question:
Guitar chords?
what chords are these and how do u hold them.c#, f#,and c#m
Answers:
F# - just move your basic F chord up one fret, so that instead of (from 4th string to 1st) 3-2-1-1, you're fretting 4-3-2-2. Make sure not to hit the 5th or 6th string.
C# is going to be a little trickier. You can use the same idea and move your open C chord up the neck one fret, but since the open C uses open strings, you'll have to "barre" the first fret with your index finger - not an easy move to pull off if you're a beginner. Alternatively, you can create a more conventional C# barre chord by holding your index finger against the fourth fret on all but the low E string, and using your other fingers to fret the sixth frets on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th strings. So from top to bottom you're fretting 4-6-6-6-4 (mute the topmost string so that it doesn't create any dissonance).
C#m is the same chord, but with a flatted third. Which means you're going to drop the F in the chord down one fret to an E. So from the fifth string down a C#m chord looks like this: 4-6-6-5-4 (with the 6th string muted).
