Sometimes I can't stand that so much hip-hop is just negative energy (lyrically speaking), and as a DJ, I have access to quite a few instrumental tracks. I'll spin them sometimes as readily as the regular tracks.
Plus its nice to see someone really trying to exercise muscianship rather than commercialism in the music.
