I want to start to get in the ETA act. I need some helpful invoice on how i should go about getting started. Thanks a Million

First I think you have to practice the moves, voice etc... Then try entering some of the contests they have in your area, like maybe at a casino. Also,there's a website where you can register as an ETA and also maybe they can give you some advice.Lots of good info on here.

I met one, Irv Cass, from Michigan. He won the contest at a casino in my state recently.($5000) His looks and voice are amazing. His e-mail address is on his site and he answered mine once. Maybe he'd give you some pointers.

I saw Brandon Bennett too. He did a show the same night as the contest at the casino. All I can say is WOW! Great performance and I think I read where he won the contest at Tupelo this year.

Also, Graceland is having an ETA contest on the 30th anniversary of Elvis' death Aug 17, 2007.(my birthday) Maybe you could go there and meet some of the guys. They always come out and mingle with the people before the contests.

I have some of Doug Church's CDs but never seen him perform. Most of the other ETAs say he has the voice most like Elvis & they just step aside when he's present.
