What is the best guitar for shredding ?
I think its a Jackson Soloist. What do you think?

The Jackson Soloist is nice, but I prefer an Ibanez RG. The RG's neck suits my hands better than a Soloist. ESP/LTD guitars are great for shred, as well.
The best guitar I've ever played however, is a Parker Fly Classic. The neck on those things is UNBELIEVABLY smooth playing and ultra responsive to legato techniques. The sounds from the thing were immaculate, as well. I had a lot of fun with the blending aspect of the normal magnetic pickups and the piezo pickup. Super versatile and crazy smooth playing guitar. I just wish they came with an Original Floyd, (I'm way too used to the Floyd Rose trem), then they'd be perfect.
