At the end of the movie, why did the accountant (Walter Smith) want the hostage takers to kill Bruce Willis!? What did that achieve!? He could have put Bruce Willis' life in danger no reason!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, he was in on it!. The accountant saw the picture of bruce willis' family and it reminded him of his son and daughter, whom bruce had just saved!. He really owed him one!. The bad guys had no idea they were connected like that, so willis brought him in as a hostage (with gun tied to his hand)!. The accountant knew that there would be a trade, but they could not trust the bad guys!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
