Her mother was mentally ill most like!. She was religious fanatic who I think also has antisocial personality disorder!. I think her treating Carrie the way she does is because of her giving into having sex with her husband and then having Carrie!. She considered it a mortal sin and since Carrie was the product of it and since Carrie had special powers, I think she thought Carrie was evil and needed to be repented!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
