Wow.
You can seriously say The Shining wasn't scary?!
You are one brave kid..
That was my first thought when I saw this.
The Saw ones are gross so if that counts.
And Hostel 1 and 2 and Touristas were really freaky but more gory freaky, you know.
The Entity.
The scariest movie I've ever seen was Disturbia, honestly it wasn't that scary, I don't get to watch many scary movies cause of my parents.
The grudge. I codnt sleep alright for 2 months.
The other movie in my list is Rosemary's baby. I found the movie very disturbing.
"dead silence" was pretty good, it's basically about possessed ventriloquist dummies
i'd say the japanese version of the ring.
Wolf Creek
13 Ghosts
Kaal
(an indian movie) The texas chainsaw massacre
One Missed Call
Jaws
silent hill
Alien, with Sigourney Weaver.
The original Blair Witch. The marketing campaign behind it was genius. When I saw it the first time (I thought the footage was real) I found it terrifying.
i love scary movies and still havent found one. please tell me if you find any. thanks
Silence of the Lambs
If you're looking for a current "scary" film then you're outta luck. Today's horror films aren't scary at all. In my opinion, they are all just gore.
Keep in mind that effects don't equal scary. The fact that these movies of yesterday did not have today's effects, does not make them less scary.
I would have to vote for the zombie movies like "Night Of The Living Dead" or "Dawn Of The Dead"
Black Christmas, the original version released in 1974.
dead silence.......that ***** is crazy rippin out tongues and ****
Jaws
Demons and Demons 2
Sleepaway Camp probably has the scariest ending.
Salem's Lot
