Who was the best cowboy (western movies)?!
Question: Many people would say that John Wayne is the best, but i think his movies were very boring.
For me, these were the best cowboys:

Maybe it's a generational thing, but I gotta go with Eastwood. Especially considering that he returned to the genre when it wasn't as popular as it once was and earned an Oscar doing it. Unforgiven is a modern masterpiece. He took the stereotypical western icon and made him human.
I also love the spaghetti westerns for the exact opposite reason...they are pure myth and fun.

Undoubtedly, nobody to beat the good old legendary JOHN WAYNE all the others including Gregory Peck,Yul Briner come in the 2nd row.

I would agree with Clint Eastwood to a degree, however I have to go with John Wayne hands down especially the movie "The Cowboys"
