What is the purpose of the Rabbit, in the Shining movie, starring Jack Nicholson!
Question: Towards the end of the movie when it appears that Jack Nicholson is losing his mind, his wife stumbles upon a room where someone in a rabbit suit seems to be giving fellatio to a man sitting on a bed. What is the meaning of this scene? I didnt get it at all, besides that the woman mustve been losing it. Why a rabbit?

The guy was not dressed as a rabbit, he was dressed in a bear suit (crazy right?). I answered this question not too long ago. I think the scene was added for the shock effect and trying to depict that demons prefer homosexual and bestiality acts.
i dont think there is a reason-i think she was seeing past guests like a halucination-ghosts-just seeing wierd stuff that happened in the past in the hotel
