How old do you have to be to see an R-rated movie without a parent?!
Question: ((idk if the laws are different for different states, but if so I'm asking for in Cali))

I recall on most commercials the guys always says "Under 17 not admitted without parent). I would think the answer is 18, but if you take his exact statement and disect the statement, it does imply that a 17 year old can get in.
Edit, I got curious and decided to look on the wiki for it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_Pict...
It does say Under 17 requires accompanying parent (age maybe 18 in some states). So in most states 17 will get you in... It does not list what states you need to be 18.
17 i believe
18 to purchase one ticket, 21 to purchase 2 or more. But just have someone buy the tickets for you and meet your friends or gf inside. They don't card
18, at least in the uk this is the highest rating.
You have to be 18 in Australia
at least 18 years old
i'm in pennsylvania, but here it's 17.
17 all over America. That's it. Or your parents can just but the ticket and you can go in. That's it. And if you pass for 17 you'll be fine, too.
