Yep. I think it is a classic and one of the best horror films made. How many films can scare you with scenes in the DAY time.

Not overly scary..Exorcist was far worse.

Jeepers Creepers

I think it is called

Ya i'd say its one of the scariest !

Saw was crazy the first time i saw it, also.. hostel was pretty nasty, saw 3 was gorey

grudge 2
i peed myself after watching it:D

scream and saw

Blades of glory, now THAT'S scary!!!

Yes I do. I think Halloween is the first really scary movie I had seen, still scares me to this day.

Michael Myers is one creepy dude.

I can hear the music now......

Depends on your fears:

Aracnophobia
Friday the 13th
Dawn of the Dead
Nightmare on Elm Street (the original)

All scary.

the remake or original...

I saw the original as a kid and it was scary back then, but I watch it now and its just corny.

The best scary movie I have seen in a while is "Dead Silence".

Never seen Halloween but when I was younger I used to think that Stephen King's movie The Shining was pretty scary. I thought the Blair Witch Project was pretty creepy the first time I saw it.

I was never that effected by it. All the scenes that were meant to build tension, I was just thinking "Get to the action already". But it was still one of the better horror movies I've seen.

Only two movies have ever actually scared me. Not startled, or surprised, but SCARED. Like, trouble sleeping scared. Those were The Ring, and Twilight Zone the Movie. For Twilight Zone, it was when John Lithgow looks out the plane window and the gremlin is RIGHT THERE. To this day, I won't fly in the window seat if I have any choice. For the Ring, I can't point to any one thing, but I had a nightmare about floating hair the night I saw it.

The Reaping
Exorcist

not really

Seven. It messes with your freaking head :p

The Exorcist...Halloween was just well written at the time, but with movies like Halloween you know who is going to die before it even happens

I've seen alot of so-called "scary" movies that didn't scare me at all, but when I saw "1408" I was freaking out. That movie scared the crap out of me for some reason, and left me feeling very unsettled and frightened all night.

Nightmare on Elm street

The Wizard of Oz! Absolutely hate that movie. It gives me the creeps for some reason. When I was younger my grandma would would tell me that she would turn on The Wizard of Oz and make me watch it if I didn't behave. lol

I can't believe someone thought Scream was one of the scariest. It was a parody of scary movies!!! LOL

The Ring was the scariest movie I have ever seen, and I don't scare easily.

28 weeks later.( i've never seen the first one but i understand it ) it was soo scary !! i watched it with my sister, my friend, and my dad and he said it was scary. my friend was so scared she didn't to go outside. i was even to scared to go to the bathroom. and i've seen lots of scary movies. i'll see the third one if they make it . just not in theaters.
