I have some Q's about forrest gump?!
Question: Well the first thing, it was an amazing movie. but you know, i dont know anyone who would run all america. they didnt show how he got food and money to survive............... and i realaized that The notebook and A walk to remember, had alot of copy's from Forrest Gump. lets say about the note-book, that they met after alot of years... so did forrest and his love. and in a walk to remember, she dies at the end, just like forrest gumps wife did................... so i dont know if it was an original storys u know.......... so tell me watcha think =] i was jus wonderin to my self and i would like to know what u guys say.

yeah now that you say it they all seem like they are related in someway. but its my fav movie
well forrest started running after he started his shrimping business.....and so he's a millionaire....

I never saw or read "The Notebook" but Forrest Gump is supposed to be kind of like a fable. He wasn't the brightest bulb in the box, but he never gave up and he ultimately achieved success. He had what you could call "dumb luck."
for one thing its just a movie you just have to accept the fact that he ran all that way .... take it for what it is.... and secondly just because the notebook and a walk to remember we written by Nicholas Sparks the notebook was written in about 1994 and a walk to remember in 1999... forest gump came out in 1994 so a walk to remember could have been set up by forest gump but the notebook was not..... but i bet both are just a coiensidence.
Those are pretty minimal similarites. Lots of stories end with one of them dieing and in the notebook, they didn't meet when they were kids like in Forest Gump. I think it's absolutely an original story. Also Forest Gump the movie came out in 1994, which is before A walk to remember movie(2002) and the notebook movie(2004). If you wanted to go by the original books these movies were based off of, Forest Gump the book still comes first by almost ten years.If anything the notebook and a walk to remember were based off forest gump.

I dont think so...nothing at all... each one is different, except that the first 2 are based on books written by the same author Nicholas sparks...nice movies by the way, sad ones.
Forrest G. is just too original... it's already understood that he did not spend all that time running throughout the country without eating or sleeping, but logically they cant actually show him eating or sleeping because they wanted to emphasize the point, and the point was that he actually ran all that way, and plus they wanted to make it funny...he getting supplies was not going to be a funny ingredient.
