Answers:
The answer is 2 men, 13 women and 85 children!. Here's a hint to solve it mathematically: There can't be 5 men because they'd cost $50 to take, and even if all the remaining $45 were spent on children, you'd only be able to bring a total of 95 people (5 men and 90 children) instead of 100!.

The number of people would continue to decrease if you were to take even more men, so that narrows the possibilities to just 1, 2, 3, or 4!. Start from there, and discard any answers that call for people to be divided into pieces!. (You're not the magician!)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Men-2 = 20
Women-13 = 32!.50
Children-85 = 42!.50Www@Enter-QA@Com
