don't worry i didn't get it ether;)
is it b. explosion? I don;t get it. Is it supposed to be a trick?
d. rocket
Buldon means explosion, Necor means danger, so Slock must mean rocket.
A. rocket?
b. explosion
Hope i'm right!
B. Explosion...just a guess, i'm no rocket scientist :-)
b)explosion
I'm going with d.rocket. Just process of elimination
i'm guessing rocket... but i'm realy not sure...
is there an answer sheet anywhere??
d- rocket
Buldon means explosion,
Necor means danger,
so that leaves slock which then must be rocket
Rocket
NECOR = DANGER BULDON=EXPLOSION SO SLOCK = ROCKET
ITS A PROCESS OF ELIMINATION
I love these questions
The answer is:d) rocket because it is all jumbled up and the 1st and 2nd sentence both have The language "necor" and the same word "danger" so "Bulden Slock" is left, then,in the 3rd sentence it has "the word "explosion" and the 1st one has it too, the 1st and 3rd sentence also have the same word "explosion" so it only leaves 1 word in the 1st sentence which is "slock" which is "rocket
Takes a bit of thinking...lol
D. Rocket
Look for the commonalities. Because 'necor' is repeated in the first two, and the only repeated word in the translation of the first two is 'danger', we can assume that 'necor' = 'danger'.
In the first and third ones, 'buldon' and 'explosion' are the only two repeates, so they have to equal each other.
From the first phrase, we then have two of the three words directly translated. That leaves 'slock' as meaning 'rocket' according to the given translation.
it's d) rocket.
Buldon- Explosion
Necor- Danger
so Slock must be Rocket
d.rocket
[ explanation same with Andrew L ]
Necor buldon slock - danger rocket explosion
Edwan Mynor Necor - danger spaceship fire - only word same, there for necor means danger
Buldon Gimilzor Gondo - bad gas explosion - only word same, there for buldon means explosion
Necor - Danger
Buldon - Explosion
Only word that hasn't been used twice is Slock
There for
Slock - Rocket
Answer is Rocket
rocket
I remember that question from the tickle iq test quiz hahaha!
First of all let's start by eliminating the possibilities.
It can't be a.Danger, because Necor is both in the first two sentences, and so is Danger when it's the translation.
It can't be explosion because in the first and last sentence
Buldon slock: Rocket Explosion
Buldon Gimizor Gordor: Bad Gas Explosion
Both have explosion and both have Buldon, which means that
Buldon=Explosion.
Slock would have to mean d.Rocket !!
- Observe the first sentence..
"Necor Buldon Slock" = Danger Rocket Explosion
-Necor=Danger
-Buldon= Explosion
so slock means rocket !!!!!!!!
*dora the explorer music*
we did it, we did it yay!
its (D) Rocket I had that question on a test in 9th grade! some IQ that is.
and to explain: In the first sentence Necor Buldon slock!
Necor obviously means danger
Buldon means explosion
the only word left is rocket! This isn't a joke. this is your homework
right:
the answer is B.
"Necor Buldon Slock" means "Danger Rocket Explosion" and "Edwan Mynor Necor" means "Danger Spaceship Fire" and "Buldon Gimilzor Gondor" means "Bad Gas Explosion".
slock means explosion which means necor which means fire which means gondor which means explosion!
tadah!
i have head something like this before and i dont think "slock" means anything
d rocket
its d rocket and thats not an iq test its on a year 12 stat test exam!!!!!!!!!
ITS d PPL ROCKET
EXPLANATION---> necor means danger cuz its the only word in both sentences that is connected buldon means explosion cuz of the same reason and there for leaving rocket as the only available answer....
plus i remember it from high school!!!!!!!!!!!!
d. rocket
my ans: rocket
>statements 1 & 2 have the word necor in them. Both statements have the word danger, so that means "necor-danger".
>statements 1 & 3 have the word buldon in them. Both statements also have the word explosion, so that means "buldon-explosion".
>this then leaves out "slock" for rocket.
