I've read a lot of stuff on Aquarians, but if anyone wants to, can you give me info on them, and who they match up with friends and lover wise. The one with the best information will get 10 pts.

Well now, do you really believe planets and stars exist to determine who we are, what we're like and what we're supposed to do on Friday? How simple it all seems now, that this vast business we call the universe was set in motion just to advise us on friendship, love, and career moves.
Having said that (and please forgive me for being a cynic) I have to admit that there's no denying that people born under different signs often exhibit particular traits and behaviors specific to that sign. (I don't believe in the predictive aspects of astrology, but when it comes to traits... I'm open).
Now then - Aquarius.
Facts. (According to Astrology)
1. Love - they match up best with other air signs. Gemini, Aquarius and Libra. (It's interesting to note that Aquarius is the only sign in the zodiac that gets along with itself in a love relationship). These are signs comfortable with sharing their Aquarius lover with the "world", which is to say that they tend to be the least jealous. This, in no way, means Aquarians tend to cheat. When they're in love, they rarely do. In fact, there's a saying in Astrology that goes something like this: Land an Aquarian lover and you've just landed a soul-mate. He or she will always love you, always respect you and always defend you to the end. They'll not only take the entire magazine of bullets for you, they'll take the grenade as well.
2. Friends - Aquarians tend to get along with everybody... so long as violence isn't involved. They're much too humanitarian to condone violence. Fact is, they abhor violence.
Now, in answer to your question about whether or not they're introverts - that's quite complex. You could probably make a similar case pertaining to just about every other sign, but you'd definitely have to make one concerning Aquarius.
The case is this. They love humanity. They hate humanity. And what I mean by this (or what astrologers mean by this) is as follows:

- they see the worst in people
This is a dichotomy that Aquarians struggle with their entire lives. In fact, when they "need alone time", they're often trying to wrap their minds around this enigma. The betterment of mankind is what they're really interested in. The macro - never, or rarely, the micro. Love and friendship relationships are the micro. They need to leave the micro every now and then to "regenerate" in the macro. (Sorry, only an Aquarius would really understand this... I'm not an Aquarius).
Bottom line: If you're an air sign that falls in love with an Aquarius, you'll appreciate him/her for life.
If you're an earth sign that falls in love with an Aquarius, you'll find they don't appreciate the material world as much as you do.
If you're a water sign that falls in love with an Aquarius, you'll find them emotionally cold.
If you're a fire sign that falls in love with an Aquarius, you'll find the sex and intimacy to be among the best you've ever experienced, but they'll disappoint in almost every other aspect.

They one's I know have outgoing personalities but are definitely introverts. They prefer alone time. They're independent hardworking people and will shower you with gifts galore. Once they have committed to you they're in for the long haul. However, they're also moody, stubborn, and somewhat selfish.
No but they don't show their feelings.
Like most signs, when they feel secure and safe in the space they're in, they are extremely outgoing, open, vulnerable and highly communicative and extrovertly expressive of their deepest and most intimate feelings. And, like most signs, when they feel the least bit suppressed by others, or environmentally ........they can be equally elusive, closed-up, soft-spoken and hidden.
I will admit that being an Aquarian does have alot of drawbacks on how people look at us. We are very intuitive of others and seers. I myself can be very introverted but usually when I feel out of my environment or world. I like to sit back and observe and understand the situation at hand. But also I am born in the cusp of Capricorn..Cancer moon and Vesta in Taurus. I am emotional and I am not afraid to open my feelings on anything.
On the other hand outside the Horoscope world I am a survivor and still keep things moving. When it comes to love I open my eyes and freely give my attention and make the other feel comfortable. If I know in time that if this is the person I am to be with I will make effort to work and nurture the situation.
But outside others see Aquarians as water and really we are air signs...and air heads...don't let the naive act fool you folks it is a way to really see the individuals as they are. Our feelings are kept under wraps and we are highly eccentric in ways that people do not understand us. But it works...

Introverts to an extent. We do like our alone time and sure won't waste our time on someone that tries to control us or tell us what to do. We like to do "our own thing" , but when we do fall head over heels....it is for the long haul. We are ppl persons and love crowds, but like ou alone time when it is time for it and hate being pestered with unwanted attn. We are very outgoing and usually pretty smart and don't like to lose or be bested at anything. We generally attract a lot of attn everywhere we go. We smile a lot and make everyone think all is well on the outside, even if we are crushed on the inside. You will only know what we are truly feeling if we want you to. That bout sums it up. As a matter of fact, they are ahead of their times and to prove it, ask any Aquarius people about courtships ?
Don't even think about old-fashion courtships because they live for the future first and foremost, Aquarians look for friendship above anything else. THEN, they will devle into a deeper relationship when they are ready.

Reflect on this..... Aquarians love the crowd BUT, THEY NEED THEIR FREEDOM . This is the most important aspect of any Aquarians. Let them have their freedom, in a relationship or otherwise, and you will win them over. PERIOD
They are visionary, unorthodox and refuse to follow the crowd.
And by freedom I MEAN FREEDOM INTELLECTUALLY. Independence is their way of life, and they will sacrifice even a close personal relationship in order to maintain it. Sometimes you will be argumentative simply because you enjoy the intellectual exercise.
In a relationship, don't try to get into his private thoughts. EVER !!!! He'll share them when he's good and ready and when he wants to. He vlaues trust and don't abuse it or you'll face scrutiny ever after. They are very futuistic and are rebels. Don't even try to ridicule these ideas.
In relationships, Aquarius tends to repress emotion because the head rules the heart. He's somewhat unnerved and embarrassed by emotion and love puts a demand on him. In addition, loving means that he has to make room. Like all fixed signs, Aquarius does not adapt easily to others. Others have to adapt to him.
With Gemini's in general, in a relationshop or married, they are friends more than lovers. Both are unpredictable which could cause some tensions. But, hey !!!!! They make a great pairand they can definitely work out their differences.
And if the relationship should end, they still remain friends.
With libras, both are sexually compatible, and share the love to socialize. Both have artistic interests. the difference with Gemini, they will be friends as well as lovers and Aquarius will make the decisions because Libra doesn’t like to make them.
From my experiences with Aquarians they usually have a very wide circle of friends and acquaintances, but very few close friends and confidantes. I would call them introverts not because they would rather be alone than be around others, but because they harbor most (if not all) of their emotions and feelings deep down inside themselves. I believe Aquarians thrive on friendship and social interaction, but desperately need that alone time to regenerate and cultivate their many unique talents. If you would like to build a deep and meaning relationship/friendship with an Aquarian then you really have to give them that space and not take it personally. They just need to take a breather every once in awhile.
Aquarians tend to have both an introverted personality and an extroverted personality. They are the thinkers of the zodiac and they're comfortable with being shy and alone since they're fiercly independant, but they're also comfortable with going out and being a little crazy.. well.. okay.. really crazy!
