I use 10 - 43 strings they last well and provide resonable manovability, for price the boss ds-1 is definatly great well built and a classic sound, delay i use the giga delay by boss but its a bit pricey but its worth it, cry baby defiantly and phasers im not sure!. mxr make some good onesWww@Enter-QA@Com
Wow ! havent heard any questions like this for awhile!.!. For std tuning Electric Speed Guitar playing which is what I did 010s on top and 038 s on bottom easiest to manipulate ,, distortion!?!? depends on what your looking for I used a two amp system a Gallien kruger ML50 for super clean distortion and stereo sound and a Roland 2000 Sampler for supreme clean and effects I programed a midi computer to change the levels and volumes automaitally
and went to town with two stereo outputs at the same time Unreal Guitar Sound I sounded like 4 people at once big Full sound
didnt have to worry about if too much distotion on one side because I could put Clean on the other and Get a Sustain that would never end if I wanted ,, Cry Baby is Better Sample delay is best 24bit 98 klhtz
or 192 klhrtz if you can find such a thing that is movie production speed the human ear cannot distinguish any difference any higher
