Perhaps you would enjoy Great Teacher Onizuka. It's more of a slice of life/shounen anime about a former bike gang member turned school teacher, and its absolutely hilarious ^^
I think you would really enjoy Cowboy Bebop.
It is a classic action anime with comedy and drama.
From the director of Samurai Champloo, Shinichiro Watanabe. The characters are some of my favorites. If you enjoyed Champloo, you should deff check it
Watch it in English here - http://catatonicloki.imeem.com/blogs/200...
Eureka Seven is a great action/romance anime that is 50 episodes long. The story is great, I even watched it a second time after finishing it.
You would probably enjoy Baccano!. It's one of my favorite action anime. Pulp Fiction and film noir come together in this violent, action packed, comical anime involving immortal alchemists and the mafia ^^
Last EXILE is another cool action anime, well known for its high quality of animation.
If you want something with power ups, you should watch Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. It's one of my favorite mecha anime. Action, comedy, some romance, and drama.
Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate
Hellsing is the original series, while Hellsing Ultimate is the much superior OVA series. I consider both of them to be the best vampire anime out there. If you watch it, I'm sure you would find out why ^^ I know it isn't shounen, but Hellsing Ultimate IS one of the most action packed anime I've seen
Have you seen Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal? It is the first Kenshin OVA series. The action and romance far surpasses the original, in this tale of Kenshin's past. See him from when he was little to the time when he was known as the Battousai, as well as what led him to go on his journey as a wanderer.
Sorry, I don't know where to find Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakusho. Your best bet would be to try on Veoh. Maybe myspaceTV or Imeem has them as well

Though it isn't working right now, an awesome website where you can keep track of your anime is http://www.myanimelist.net/
You might find something else that interests you there.
darker than black
i heard its good
I LOVE Inuyasha, so you definitely need to find that one. I would try a subscription site like Netflix, because you can view a lot online. Trigun is really good too, and I enjoyed some episodes of Cowboy Bebop. Also, a great movie is Spirited Away, but it's more interesting than exciting. Now, I'm not sure if all of these fall under any technical definitions of anime, but they're good all the same. :) (I wish they'd make an anime of the manga/movie Battle Royale)

You can find Inuyasha on the first site with all the episodes. I believe you can also find Yu Yu Hakusho there too. It's my fav site to watch anime. Hope i helped some. :)

There is this really awesome website called http://anime-planet.com It has this thing called the anime recommend database (ani-rec). You look up the title of any anime and it will show you what other members of the website would think you would like. It is about the coolest thing ever for anime fans! It also has message boards for anime discussion.
Definitely watch Inuyasha on:

I WOULD recommend Tsubasa, but only read the manga, the anime stinks :(
