It's my favorite anime.
I think you will like it a lot. Two of my friends who don't normally watch or like anime LOVE the show.

I personally love the anime and the manga, so I think you should definitely take the time to watch it.
of course. It is sooooo cool. You will love it. You need to. I've watched it, and loved it. TRY IT!!!! Death Note is so intense and so interseting even the first episode is cool. DO IT!!!!!!
you watch inuyasha and yet you ask if deathnote is worth watching...
If you find an anime interesting, there's really no reason not to start watching it yourself. That's the only way for you to know whether you like it or not. Everyone has their own opinions.
Anyway, Death Note is amazing. It has one of the best stories, it's hard to see how anyone could come up with some of the ideas and thoughts of the main character, Light. It is very much enjoyable. You should definitely check it out.
Same I have started to get into DeathNote to. I think its a good series and worth getting into.
there shouldn't be any doubt about that, coz death note really really rocks, for example in my fav anime list death note is at first place together with naruto, though it's totally different from naruto, it is very very cool and there's no way that you won't like it, to watch it is a must! ^^
